Room Manager is Hybo's application for touch devices, such as tablets, typically located near the entrance of each room to display and manage the day's bookings. To learn more, see How to get started with Room Manager.
Language Selection
Upon accessing Room Manager, you can now set the language in which the information and available actions are displayed. You can choose Spanish, English, Basque, Portuguese, or Catalan.
Improvements to Walk-In Bookings
Time Added Indicator
When creating a meeting from Room Manager, select the initial booking duration; then, continue tapping the duration buttons, now preceded by a "+" sign (1), to increase the Meeting duration (2). Finally, tap Meet up (3) to create the meeting.
Validation When Creating and Extending Bookings
When booking from Room Manager, Hybo validates that the selected time does not overlap with subsequent room bookings. This validation also applies when tapping Extend 15 minutes, a button that is automatically hidden if it could cause overlaps.
When it's not possible to add more time because there's another reservation during that period, Room Manager displays the message "You cannot add more time to the booking during this time."
Check-in and Check-out Customization
Setup
Decide whether check-in and check-out actions should appear in Room Manager. You can configure each action independently. To do this, in the admin panel:
Navigate to MASTERS â My Account.
Select the Configuration tab.
Find the Panel Room Application section.
Activate or deactivate the Show check-in and Show check-out toggles as needed.
PLEASE NOTE: If you disable Show check-in after setting up automatic check-out for the office of any room displayed in Room Manager, users will need to remember to check in using the app to prevent their bookings from being automatically canceled.
Check the settings in MASTERS â Centers â Offices â (find and select the office) â Configuration tab â ROOMS section â Booking Policies area â Max. minutes to auto check-out field.
