Booking predictions allow you to create bookings more quickly by using your recent HYBO bookings as a reference.
When this feature is enabled for your office, HYBO analyzes the values you regularly use within each module and can automatically complete certain fields in the booking form.
How does it work?
When you open a new booking form, HYBO analyzes your booking history for the corresponding module and office.
If HYBO identifies values that you use frequently enough, they will be automatically completed in the form. For example, if you usually book in a specific zone or select the same shift, HYBO can suggest those values for your next booking.
Each field is analyzed independently, so some fields may be completed automatically while others may remain unselected.
When at least one prediction has been applied, an informational message will appear in the form indicating that some fields have been automatically completed.
Important: Automatically completed values are intended to help you create bookings more quickly. You can review and modify them before confirming your booking.
Which modules support booking predictions?
Booking predictions are available in the following modules:
Module | Information that can be automatically completed |
Desk | Time range or shift, building, floor, and zone |
Parking | Time range or shift, vehicle, and zone |
Rooms | Building, floor, start time, duration/end time, capacity, room, and Teams meeting option |
Canteen | Building, floor, canteen, shift, and takeaway option |
Activities | Building, floor, zone, and shift |
CarFleet | Shift and vehicle |
Prediction validation
Before completing a field, HYBO checks that the suggested value is valid for the booking you are creating.
Among other validations, the system may check:
That the start and end times are valid.
That the end time is later than the start time.
That the duration does not exceed the maximum allowed.
That, for a booking on the current day, the suggested time has not already passed.
That the suggested shift is still available based on the current time.
If any of these conditions are not met, HYBO will not apply that value to the form.
Why might a prediction not appear?
Even when the feature is enabled, some fields may not be automatically completed.
This can happen when there is not enough booking history, when there is no sufficiently frequent usage pattern, or when the usual value does not meet the requirements for the new booking.
Bookings using a QR code
In the Desk and Rooms modules, when the booking process is started using a QR code, this flow takes priority. Predictions will not be applied and the informational message will not be displayed.
How are booking predictions enabled?
The booking prediction feature is configured at the office level and is disabled by default.
To enable it for an office, please contact the HYBO Support team, who will apply the required configuration.
How many bookings are used to generate a prediction?
By default, HYBO uses the user's 5 most recent bookings as the sample for calculating predictions.
For a value to be automatically applied to a new booking, it must have been used in at least 80% of the analyzed bookings. For example, when 5 bookings are used as the reference, the same value must appear in at least 4 of them to be considered a prediction.
Which bookings are taken into account?
HYBO uses the user's recent bookings for the module and office where the new booking is being created.
Bookings with a Lost or Deleted status are excluded from the calculation and are therefore not used to determine the user's usual preferences.
