This document describes the addition of a new field called “Employee Type”, which allows users to be classified within the system. This field will impact several modules, including user management, reporting, and search filters across different views.

The Employee Type field has the following characteristics:
🗂️ Stored at the tenant level
The different employee types are stored at the tenant level, allowing each organization to configure them based on their own needs.
👥 Assigned to users
The employee type can be assigned from the user profile editing screen. By default, users will not have any value assigned.
⚠️ Does not affect priority
The employee type will not impact resource allocation algorithms unless a value is explicitly configured.

The new field will be incorporated into various modules and reports to improve information segmentation.
🔎 Filtering and Display
This new field enhances data segmentation across different parts of the system. It can be used as a filter in:
User Management: Search and filtering in the user administration panel.
Parking reservations: Filter reservations based on employee type.
Reports: Included as both a filter and a visible column in different reports.
Vehicles: Search and filter by employee type.
📁 Data Export
CSV exports for parking, vehicles, and users will include a new column showing the assigned employee type.
📈 Impact on Reports
The Employee Type field will be integrated into the following system reports:
Parking reservations (algorithm): Allows viewing and filtering reservations based on employee type.
Reservations without check-in (parking): Includes employee type as part of the report data.
Daily parking report: Presents information segmented by employee type.
Parking charts: Introduced as a segmentation parameter for data visualization.
📌 Considerations
The field is configured at the tenant level and available in all modules listed above.
Users without an assigned employee type will not be affected nor included in filters that depend on this value.
