🕒 Priority Advance Reservation

The new advance reservation feature is designed to allow users who belong to specific groups to make their reservations ahead of time.

This is managed through a new tab called “Configuration” in user groups. In this tab, administrators can define how many days in advance users in each group will be able to make their reservations. The maximum value allowed for this field is 7 days.

Users who belong to a group with advance reservation will have several benefits:

Early visibility of the fortnightly opening:

Users will see the fortnightly opening before the rest, allowing them to make their reservations with priority. This option will be visible to users in the group and will give them an advantage over users who do not belong to that group.

​Addition of advance days in modules without fortnightly opening:

If the fortnightly opening is not configured, the number of advance days assigned to users in a group will be added to the number of advance booking days configured in the office modules. This allows users with advance reservation to book further in advance than others, even in modules without fortnightly opening.

It is important to note that the advance reservation feature is applied according to the scopes defined in each user group. This means that:

By office:

If a group has a specific office assigned, the advance days will apply only to that office.

​By module and specific zone:

If a group has a more specific configuration (such as a module or a specific zone), the advance days will apply to that definition.

Below are the steps to configure the advance reservation feature for user groups.

Step 1: Access User Group Configuration

Log in to the system as an administrator.

Go to the “Permissions” section and select “Groups”.

From the list of groups, select the user group to which you want to apply advance reservation.

Step 2: Access the Configuration Tab

Within the selected group, go to the “Configuration” tab.

In this section, you will see the field where you can define the number of advance days for reservations. Remember that the maximum allowed is 7 days.

Step 3: Configure the Advance Days

In the “Advance Days” field, enter the number of days you want to assign to users in this group. The maximum value is 7 days.

Click “Save” to confirm the configuration.

Step 4: Confirm the Application of the Configuration

Once the configuration is saved, users belonging to this group will be able to start seeing and using the advance reservation feature. The visibility of the fortnightly opening or the addition of advance days will be applied according to the established configuration.
