π Why is confirmation required?
Reservations created through automated scripts or via the admin panel are generated without direct user intervention.
To ensure that these reservations will actually be used, the system asks the user to:

π Confirm whether they will keep the reservation or not.
This process helps optimize the use of available space and prevents spots from being blocked by reservations that will never be used.
π Time limit to confirm
Users will be able to confirm their reservation until the time limit configured by the organization.

π΄ If it is not confirmed within the time limit, the reservation will automatically change to the βLostβ status.
π Notifications
The system can send automatic reminders to the user, depending on the configured settings:
Reminder before the deadline expires.
Successful reservation confirmation.

Users can confirm directly from the app:

β Note: This option will only be visible for reservations created via automated script or via the Admin, and only within the valid confirmation period.

Administrators have a dedicated section to enable or adjust this functionality from the Parking module settings panel.
In this section you will find:
A toggle to enable or disable this feature.
Once enabled, all reservations generated via script or admin must be confirmed before the configured deadline.A toggle to enable or disable a reminder.
A numeric field to set the maximum number of hours allowed to confirm a reservation.

When the functionality is enabled, two fields appear:

Reminder time | Defines when the reminder email will be sent to the user to confirm the reservation. | Yes, a reminder email is sent. |
Deadline (automatic release) | Indicates when unconfirmed reservations will be released and marked as βLostβ or cancelled, depending on the configuration. | No, currently no email is sent when the spot is automatically released. |
π Reservation release applies to reservations for the following day.
Creating reservations requiring confirmation from the admin
When creating a Parking reservation from the configuration panel, an option will appear to decide whether the user must confirm their reservation.
If the option is enabled, it means the user will NOT have to confirm the reservation.
Otherwise, the user WILL have to confirm it.
