๐Ÿ“Œ What is the external parking area?

It is a new external parking zone enabled to cover demand when the main office parking has no available spaces.

This feature allows users to reserve a spot in an alternative area, ensuring they always have a space available.

โœ… How does it work for the user?

Regular reservation: The user starts a reservation in the Parking module, selecting the date, shift and vehicle.

No availability: If there are no available spots in the internal parking, the app will automatically offer the external zone as the only option.

Confirmation: Once confirmed, the reservation is registered in Hybo like any other, with the option to transfer or delete it.

โš™๏ธ How to configure the external zone?

The configuration is done from the Hybo administrators page. Below are the key steps:

1๏ธโƒฃ Create or edit the zone

Go to Admin > Parking zones.

From there, you can create a new zone or edit an existing one as needed.

Assign an identifiable name so it can be easily recognized within the organization.

2๏ธโƒฃ Mark as external zone

Inside the zone details, activate the โ€œExternal zoneโ€ option.

This configuration is essential: it tells Hybo to automatically offer this zone to users only when the internal parking is full, enabling efficient availability management.

๐Ÿ”’ Important restrictions

No queue option: If there are no internal spots, Hybo will directly offer the external zone without showing the option to join the waiting list.

License management: Reservations are counted like any other for reporting and auditing.

Delete reservations: Administrators and users can cancel external zone reservations like any other.

Transfer reservations: It is possible to transfer the reservation to another vehicle if necessary.

Reports: Reservations are recorded and visible in usage and occupancy reports.
