To improve the user experience in our facilities, we have implemented a new feature that allows refunding gym credits when cancelling reservations. Below is a detailed explanation of how it works.

  • Cancellations with sufficient notice:
    If the user cancels their reservation β€œx” hours in advance or more, the credit associated with that reservation will be automatically refunded, and the slot will become available for other users.

  • Late cancellations:
    If the user cancels their reservation with less than β€œx” hours in advance, the credit will not be refunded, although the slot will still be released.

  • Confirmation messages:
    Before confirming the cancellation, the system will display a message indicating whether the user is within or outside the refund window. This allows them to make an informed decision before proceeding.

Administrators can set the number of hours required for a credit refund from the administration page. This allows the functionality to be adjusted according to the needs of each site.
