What is user delegation?
The User Delegation feature allows a user to authorize another user to manage their profile and perform actions on their behalf within the platform.
Through delegation, the assistant user will be able to:
Create and manage reservations on behalf of the delegated user.
View the delegated user’s reservations.
Manage the delegated user’s vehicles.
Delegation configuration (Administrator)
Delegation is configured from the administration platform:
Steps:
Go to Users.
Select the user who will act as the assistant.
Go to the More details tab.
Search for and select the delegated user.
From that moment on, the assistant user will be able to operate on behalf of the delegated user.
Using delegation from the PWA
Within the PWA, in the Profile section, the assistant user will see a list of users for whom they have delegation permissions.
Selecting a delegated user
When selecting one of these users:
Their information and reservations will be displayed.
Office changes will be locked (the delegated user’s office is maintained).
All actions will be performed on behalf of that user.
Creating reservations on behalf of another user
When the assistant creates a reservation on behalf of the delegated user:
The reservation is associated with the delegated user.
The delegated user receives a notification informing them of the new reservation.
Vehicle management in delegated mode
In delegated mode, the assistant can:
Create vehicles for the delegated user.
Delete existing vehicles.
Transfer reservations between the delegated user’s vehicles.
This allows full profile management without direct intervention from the main user.
Bulk reservation transfer
In addition to individual management, delegation allows bulk reservation transfers.
This means the assistant user can:
Transfer all visible reservations of the delegated user.
Move reservations from one vehicle to another in a single action.
Important considerations
The assistant user does not need the delegated user’s credentials.
All actions are recorded under the delegated user.
Delegation can be modified or removed at any time from the administrator panel.
