Permission Management

This section will help you manage permissions from the administrator panel.

Updated over 2 months ago

Permission management may vary depending on whether or not you have an integration with Microsoft Azure AD.

Roles

To view the available roles, go to Permissions > Roles.
Roles are predefined by Hybo and cannot be modified. If you need a specific role, please contact [email protected].

Roles contain the user groups that have that permission. By default, all users have the “Application User” role, which allows them to access Hybo.

If you want a group of users not to have access to a specific module, you simply need to create new groups and assign them only the role you want them to have.
To learn how to create groups, see the Groups section below.

Groups

Please note that groups depend on the type of integration you have, either with or without Azure AD (Custom Login or Google Workspace).

Without Microsoft Azure AD integration (Custom Login or Google Workspace)

If you do not have an Azure AD integration and are using Custom Login or Google Workspace, you can create groups directly from the Hybo admin portal at:

Permissions > Groups

With Microsoft Azure AD integration

If you have an Azure AD integration, groups must be created in the Azure Admin Portal of your tenant.
However, keep in mind that for Hybo to recognize these groups, their names must start with the “HYBO” prefix.

Example:

  • HYBO_User

  • HYBO_Admin

These are the basic groups Hybo requires to grant user access and permissions.

You can create as many groups as needed to manage roles and assign permissions to them.

Once the groups are created, you can add users who should belong to each group.

Important: If a user has never accessed Hybo before, they will not appear in the list. The user must log in to Hybo at least once to be created in the system.

Ambit management allows you to grant access only to a specific office and restrict others.
To do this, you must enable ambits, select the scope you want to grant access to, and click the “+” button to add it.
