Enhanced Meeting Room Management

We are pleased to announce a new update to our meeting room management system, designed to improve your experience when booking and managing meeting spaces. Below is an overview of the new features and how you can benefit from them.

Room Availability Cards

We have introduced availability cards that provide a clear and quick overview of the available room options. These cards include the following information:

  • Room Name: Each card displays the room name for easy identification.

  • Schedule: Shows the times when the room is available or reserved.

  • Room Capacity: Indicates the maximum number of people the room can accommodate.

  • Features: A list of features such as TV, whiteboard, coffee machine, etc., to help you choose the room that best suits your needs.

  • Availability Status:

    Available: The room is free and can be reserved.

    Suggested: The room may not fully meet the requested requirements but is a viable option.

    Occupied: The room is already reserved by another user.

Alternative Rooms with Warning

When a requested room is not available, the system now suggests alternative rooms that may fit your needs. These alternative rooms offer:

  • Similar Schedule and Capacity: The alternatives match the same day and a similar time range and capacity to what was requested, ensuring they are viable options.

Occupied Room Display

When a room is occupied, the name of the person who booked it is now clearly displayed. This facilitates management and communication between users, in case coordination is needed for possible booking adjustments.
